Today, 25 of Apryl i was a witness of anomalistic weather. That year in Moscow we have ordinary weather: about +10-15 C degree, green grass and leafs. Today it was an ordinary morning with clouds and sun and breeze wind. Everything had changed in 5 minutes. Deep dark clouds covered all sky, then it began gray and then sharp snow mixed with snow flakes started. From my window 22 floor i could see the great panorama of nature disaster.

About 20 minutes it was catchy wind and snow flowed in horizontal direction. I had hardly opened the window and made next picture:

After 25 minutes of storm it stopped. Pretty sun came and shy everything, all things was magically  cleaned and i saw lovely picture of pure cheerful trees, roads, cars. So beautiful and exciting!

It seems as if the world was blessed and cheered for us!

Night time is the best to make some sketches about the life.

This is the hot period in institute`s life. Students prepares to exams and graduation. As the Head of management department i have to check many things: texts of graduation works etc. I am so tired of it! Sometimes i feel myself crazy about such work but it is the disadvantage of teacher`s life. I try to be patient, tolerant and enjoy my karma as well.

Everyone knows how important are tools for professionals. I have a deep passion to try and use new tools, and especially love tools for painting. Today it is two kind of brushes. Congratulate me with such new experience! One is the brush for calligraphy with ink container by Pentel. Today I try it first time and found it interesting and fun.

The end of ink brush is unexpectedly dry. Even if I squeeze the conteiner hard ink flows too slowly. Then the brush forms ink lines in not smoth mode. This is the special thing of such tools, i suppose.

That Sunday, yesterday, my dear friends came to me and I thought it would be not bad idea to teach them how to dye fabrics. They brought several t-shirts to sacrificed it to such experiment.


Girls seemed like heroes because it was the first time they did it. With all courage we bathed the t-shirt in colors with 4 hands. I joked, t-shirt seemed to be fainted therefore not to hinder us.


We worked hard and won!


One of t-shirts was in grass green color; our fingers and nails too.

From my previous experiences all my clothes was sluiced by colors. Therefore I choose for myself an ugly orange+green+black-something blouse and I planed to drop it at the rest of the day. But girls acted carefully and no one drop of color touched my blouse (it means the blouse still with me).

This t-shirt was colored into sky-blue. Irina did it with great success.

Then it was the time to dye something pink… strong pink, I dare say.


 After dyeing we had some tea with cakes and dried t-shirts. Not bad! My back had a hard work  with every dyeing t-shit and control the process. Then we started to make fine work with brushes.


Irina chose to make it by free hand painting.

I had to help gils with brushes etc, and was a witness how the picture growth… it was the fish!

At the rest of the day I taught friends how to make a special dyeing with drops.


This is the real heroes! They did really great job! ))

Actually the point is how to continue to do the thing even if you are tired of it. It is true to said the hardest part of my projects has finished and I am glad to notice it!

  My friends said it seems as Anna is something like mashine, never stops and clealy know what to do. But many times I felt myself empty and lost. Several times it was so exhosting activity then I wished to close my eyes and forget everything.
The secret is to allow youself to have a rest for a while and then with samurai`s determination do it next time.
Now I completed 2 sites www.annamain.org and www.ann-mary.com . Next 2 projects are postponed for a small time but i designed it`s main idea.

My web site www.Annamain.Org has opened. This is the result of more then 6 months of hard work - painting, thinking, planing, coding… and now I am happy!  Thanks to everybody who helped me! 

2009 has finished so i have to close my wish to paint 10 pictures with the result.
It was so many adventures suddenly happened, such as my visit to UK. As the result I did only 3 unfinished pictures in 2009 and have to recognize it as a not bad result. Promise to do more in curent 2010!
