Today I was trying to follow my plan and to finish several old business such as documents, texts, unfinished pictures and also to check how many needle works I abandoned on the half. I was trying to do it and partly successful/ Suddenly  it was an idea to clean up the tubes of my painting colours, then I went to my workshop, set for a moment near the easel and then it was happened. I did 2 new acrilic paintings instead of finishing several old. Oh my God. My plans was interrupted. And I have twins next time   

The second painting placed on my big pad was born of itself. I started with vague understanding what it will be but it was a strong feeling something was ready to manifest so I started to do it. As I did the backgroung of the picture with bronze,  copper, 2 shadows of brown and a little bit royal gold I perceived it more and more, until my hands was ready to start with stokes.

It was the face of an Angel, during the work I felt it more personal so it is correct to say this is my own Angel. This is the back of the pad with shaggy surface so it  tooks from me enough of strength to chafe colours in it (and two of my brushes loose everything during the pocess). That time I choose my zen-balcony fo painting. It`s narrow place, no easel, no seats - everything turned me to be more concentrated, it was amazing, productive and I like it.

Can we see Angels clearly? I think no. It`s a vision through blur, shining, changing colours, it is a kind of a strong feeling as you practice it but the image itself is not so clear as things near you. This is the differencies between matherial life and something spiritual covered by veil. So I covered the face of Angel with gold.

More bronze and special persiliber colours I rubed with my fingers, and then I used a fan-brush to make several soft gold strokes over the picture.

Finally I wrote 2 mantras in Sanskrit with gold. The final picture recalled both an old icon of ortodoxal Greec church and an ancient fresco in cavate temples of India and China.

In the end I covered the painting with 6 layers of varnish. It`s difficult to make a true picture: in soft day light it looks softer like previous picture, and with direct sun light it looks another. So this is the view with light. When sun comes the picture started to shine, gold strokes produced a mystic effect of movement inside and all colours seemed deeper.

Well, this is the back of the pad. I painted it so because such big pad had never been put on the ground during I do painting on it. The work side of the pad still have no painting. I guess it will be something modest and simple because the main messege is the face of Angel and mantras on the back.

I`ve finished several new painting on my pads to make it individually designed. Acrylic painting, gold and varnish creates beautiful suite of lines, shine and matted surface so it looks really nice, actually more then I expected at the beginning. I started with A3 pad and use close place on my zen-balcony to make concentration more.

 Olive trees ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olive_tree ) is amazing, it`s shape seemed as if it comes from a fantasy story of film. The main idea and colours of the picture belongs to my sketch I did last year just after I leaved Corfu. Olive trees also associated with historical symbol gold olive chaplet and also with a symbol of peace. All of it mixed in my hands and this is the result - the base sketch.

I use Royal Gold, yellow and several shadows of brown painted the Olive Tree on the pad. It was something like Japanese style of painting on traditional boxes and other things because I used gentle strokes and the tree seemed half-hidden by fine gold strokes over it.

In Chinece tradition I love paintings accompanies with a text concerns the main mood and describes the main idea of a painting. So I decided to make inscription.

As olives associates with peace I also wanted to link it with my favourite Indian tradition. Greece and India connected by Alexander the Macedonian so it was corect. My favourite praer "Om Shanti" ("Shanti" means "peace") was the best to put here so I paint the word "Shanti" on Sanskrit triplicately.

When it was finished I varnished it 3 times to make a good protection for the painting and the pad itself. The result is really nice, during I did it I realized how to use small lamp for e-book to work with pad tonight if I want to sketch outside.

On the back of the pad I wrote the text of appropriate Sanskrit praer with the translation into English below. I`ve always inspired with enlightening meanings of Sanskrit so it was a good idea to write it. Then I made varnish 3 times.

When the work was finished I couldn`t stop and made the box for my tools the same way… Look at it… Ah, and my feets`s here!..

So now I am really satisfied with the result of that work. I will use my tools with more pleasure and care as it becomes so beautiful and full of meanings I like. Besides all tools will  save if I spill something

I`v just finished varmish my new paintings on my pads A3 and A2 format. It`s accords to my idea to make personal instruments more individual. There is greecs olive tree in gold on A3 pad and an angel face on the second pad. I like both and satisfy of the work, it looks elegantly and make my instrument more convenient to work. Pics will be tomorrow bacause today I am too lazy for it! 8-)

Started to decorate several tools such as 2 pads for sketching. Looks gold! Pictures will be soon.

Sometimes the process of selection spends a lot of energy so it seems the best choice is no choice. When I try to decide what I want to eat and what to cook, plus time for shopping, plus time for cooking etc. I recall the style "everyday is the same".

Even such style seemes boring it makes easy things predictable and as I see could save a lot of time.

Ok, here in Moscow +30, no cool, no water, it`s like a desert and Anna still have no desire to work. This is a good time to organize pictures from Corfu and may be to moan why it so far away.

Oh, so cool water! Fresh, green, solt… Sometimes the sea was cool, sometimes sweet, sometimes like a sparkling water… Waves runs one by one, breaks, licks the seashore, spreads over the stones…

Ok, I am in Moscow about a week and try to work. Attempts is a bit strange thing as you do it. At Corfu there was only 2-3 things to do so I felt as I did it at all.

But here the number of affairs increased for millions! Several paintings are waiting to be finished,  several books screems for reading and other things demands of my attention. As I count amount it changes because suddenly I realized more. I ask myself where is the end?.. No answer.

Nevertheless I feel myself lazy enough to sleep more and do only small things. Traditionally the weather is fault, not me, not me .

Tomorrow - no, today morning I`ll fly back. The holydays was amazing and I will be here next year. So I`ll keep the memory and  prepare to work.
